How to Make an Animoto, Plus criteria for making one for Mrs. Ragsdale's class 2017:

How to Make an Animoto Presentation: 1. At computer, create a new file folder titled, "Animoto", to store future photos in. 2. Go to www.animoto.com and log in as WHSRagsdale+(your number) @gmail.com Password: jaguars (is ALL case sensitive!) (You MUST use this to log on -- and note that someone else may also have your same log-in and password; just ignore other Animotos, and they should do the same for you!) This will then show up as Username: RagsdaleStudent – changeTITLE to your class hour number and name (ex: 2-JamesSmith) 3. 1st Select a Style -- check the samples to watch (cannot use "PRO" styles), and click "create video" when you choose the style you want. *Remember you can change the music, so don't worry about that, just click on the correct syle you want. 4. 2nd Select Music for your style --- you MUST use music from Animoto, due to copyright laws. You can change the music by listening to styles through the full list of songs available. 5. 3rd Import Photos into Animoto by clicking "add photos and text", and pulling photos from your Animoto folder you set up. **Adding photos to your Animoto file: select a separate tab for Google.com -- go to images -- search for which images you need and SAVE them into your Animoto file folder. Photos MUST be saved as JPEG photos only ---not BMP or other. Only JPEG will upload into Animoto. 6. Add Text Boxes --- make sure you CHECK and re-check spelling, punctuation, and accuracy. 7. When complete, can click Preview to see, or skip that and Produce the video, and share with others! You will have to add a title here when you produce. This is how we will search for your video on the school site. (You can also edit a copy after produced.) 8. You may use the Animoto app, but be sure to upload photos at school, so they are saved in our system.

Criteria for Making an Animoto for Mrs. Ragsdale's class: 1. You MUST have at least 10 text slides AND 10 photo slides with photo citations on each photo (some assignments require more – read your assignment). If you run out of room with the length of your song, you may click on the song and change it to a longer one. 2. You MUST also have an opening slide, a closing slide, AND a Photography Citations Side. On the opening slide, include your name and the title of your presentation. The closing slide could say, “The End” or have a video/closing image. The LAST slide should be where you found each of your photos – the WEB address. 3. You will stand up and present your video to the class -- stating your name and what you did your Animoto presentation over, then press play and we will watch!  4. The 200 points will consist of your Introduction, the 23+ slides, correct information and spelling, and overall use of Animoto to present your idea. 5. We will have 3 days in the Media Center Computer Lab. If you are absent, you MUST use your own time to complete the assignment.
