Draper Tackles Ambient Light at CEDIA 2013

(Spiceland, Ind.) – When it comes time to watch your favorite movie or the biggest sporting event of the century, more and more of that content is being offered in higher quality and at a greater resolution than ever before. When the projector is fired up you don’t want all that fine detail and vivid contrast to get lost on the screen—especially when the lights are on.

At CEDIA 2013, Draper, Inc. will be tackling the issue head-on with a pair of viewing surfaces that provide superior performance in ambient light conditions.

Draper’s High Performance XS850E is an ambient light rejecting optical screen surface incorporating multilayer film technology to provide precise resolution, high contrast in all conditions, and a vivid color palette.

The new ReAct MS1000V offers enhanced color contrast even in ambient light.

React MS1000V has a gain of 1.0 and, most importantly, is available on motorized tab- tensioned screen models, so it can be retracted into ceiling-recessed or wall mounted housings when not in use. ReAct MS1000V is versatile enough to be used on permanently-tensioned screens as well, and is an affordable solution when ambient light is an issue.

To see Draper’s High Performance XS850E and ReAct MS1000V viewing surfaces in action, stop by booth #3318 at CEDIA 2013, September 26-28 in Denver.
