Welcome to Lake Brantley High School! Our Peer Counseling Freshmen Orientation Team is very excited to host your student for the Freshmen Orientation Program on Monday, July 28, 2014! This is an action-packed day that you don’t want to miss! Participation in the program is essential to the success of each freshman and their smooth transition into high school. The Coordinating Team has worked diligently to plan a beneficial, enlightening, and most of all, FUN day for you. The Peer Counselors are trained and ready to assist and welcome you.

Your orientation will last about an hour! After receiving your schedule at orientation, you will go on a tour and end at the Media Center for Pre-school Processing! Locker assignments, t-shirts and planners will be distributed in the Media Center. You will also receive your textbooks, purchase sport passes and have an opportunity to complete a petition form to have your schedule changed for necessary reasons! This year, to ease crowding and long lines, photo ID and yearbook pictures will be taken in the Community Room.

Please do NOT send siblings, friends, relatives or students from other schools to the Orientation! This program is for Lake Brantley incoming 9th graders only!

Parents: “Prepared Patriot Parent” Reception

While your student is in the gym participating in Orientation, please join us for a special reception and program sponsored by the PTSA. Our aim is to welcome you and provide you with enough information to make you a “Prepared Patriot Parent”. As your student heads for the gym, you will proceed to the Auditorium Lobby for edibles/refreshment and social networking with other parents. You will then gather in the auditorium for a short program!

After the program, it is ON TO PRE-SCHOOL PROCESSING where you will reconnect with your student in the courtyard and “take care of business” in the Media Center and Community Room.
