8/2004-12/2004 Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA  Adjunct Professor Crafts Department Instructor for Introduction to Kilnworking Glass.

8/2002-5/2003 School of Art, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois  Instructional Assistant Professor Sole instructor and interim head of the glass department. Duties include the instruction of all levels of glass curriculum from introductory undergraduate to graduate courses as well as the execution and orchestration of all aspects of glass studio operations.

6/26-8/08/2002 Snow Farm Craft Program, Williamsburg, Massachusetts  Co-Head Glassblowing Studio Develop lesson plan and teach two 2½-week introductory glassblowing workshops for the Snow Farm Summer High School Intensive Program.

5/2003-12/2003 O’Brien Dodge , Normal, Illinois  Sales Associate Daimler-Chrysler Certified New and Pre-owned automotive salesperson.

5/2001- 8/2001 In Exchange Project, School Street, Normal, Illinois  Artist Assistant Worked on site and in the studio assisting artist, Dann Nardi, with construction of a large-scale sculpture garden. Duties included the building of wooden forms for casting concrete as well as mixing and coloring concrete.

8/97 – 7/99 1608 Historical Jamestown Glasshouse, Williamsburg, Virginia  Journeyman Glassblower Demonstrator Aided in the development of a new apprenticeship program. Helped train new employees and supervised up to six other employees. Responsible for scheduling daily glass production. Helped to maintain and repair glassblowing equipment, demonstrated glassblowing to the public while working to fulfill daily production quotas.

8/95 – 7/97 1608 Historical Jamestown Glasshouse, Williamsburg, Virginia  Glassblower Demonstrator Demonstrated glass blowing to the public while working to maintain production quotas.

4/93-7/95 Nuway Sytems, Elgin, Illinois  Carpet care crew leader Performed all aspects of carpet care from cleaning and dying to repairs. Responsible for supervising two-member carpet car team and prioritizing daily work schedule.

2  Part-time Assistant to Eric Bladholm, glass artist Provided hot shop assistance during the creation of the artist’s work. Summer 1991: Cedar Point, Ohio  Glass Blower and Technical Assistant Demonstrated glass blowing to the public and helped maintain studio.

Summer 1990: Artpark, Lewiston, New York  Glass Blowing Studio Technical Assistant Maintained equipment in the glass blowing studio and worked directly with visiting artists in production of their artwork.
