About the Mowgli Foundation

The Mowgli Foundation provides experienced mentors to entrepreneurs, primarily in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), with the aim of helping them build sustainable and successful businesses that create employment opportunities and ultimately alleviate poverty.

Job Title: Project Assistant for the Mowgli Foundation

Based at: Mowgli office, Bristol

Position Reports to: Amanda Edwards, UK Business Manager

Job Purpose:

To provide support in the planning, delivery and monitoring of Mowgli Foundation mentoring projects taking place both internationally and in the UK.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

 Create feedback forms for all Mowgli projects on our electronic survey system, SurveyGizmo

 Set up project specific feedback requests and send to Mowgli mentoring program participants, via SurveyGizmo

 Follow up feedback requests with participants of Mowgli mentoring programs to improve the response rate of recipients

 Collate and maintain feedback / impact data

 Use data to undertake impact assessment against defined success criteria and prepare reports using Mowgli project report templates

 Provide collated data to colleagues to be used for external communications purposes

 Support the Operations Manager in building Mowgli’s pipeline of mentors and entrepreneur mentees through researching suitable networks and organisations

 Maintain details of researched networks and organisations on our internal database, Salesforce

 Provide some logistical support for Mowgli mentoring projects e.g. research flights for Mowgli facilitators, research Visa requirements, etc

Skills & Competencies:

 Must be computer literate – adept in the use of all Microsoft Office applications, Excel in particular, and be proficient at using the internet for research purposes  An excellent team player who is able to form relationships over the telephone as well as face to face, as the team is situated in various international locations

 Organised and able to manage own time effectively

 Ability to speak Arabic and / or French is desirable

 Experience in data maintenance and management is desirable

 Excellent written communication and report writing skills
