CNC Drilling Machine For Plates Model PHD4040/2 1. Usage of the machine

The machine is mainly used for drilling the plates used in the wind power, heat-exchanger and other tube plates industry, which adopts carbide drill with high-speed. The two drilling units can work independently. The processing procedure is automatic and can fulfill the automatic, high precision, many kinds of variety and small-medium batch of production.

2. Feature of the machine

1. The machine is gantry moveable machine which is mainly composed of machine body,

gantry, vertical feeding slipway, hydraulic system, pneumatic system, cooling system,

automatic lubrication system, electric system and swarf conveyor.

On the surface of the machine body, there are many T slot support structure which is

used to clamp the workpiece.

The machine’s worktable is fixed and the gantry can move, which can reduce the length

of the machine body saving the ground. The machine body uses welded steel plates,

considering the material’s rationality and has already made stress elimination treatment,

therefore the machine’s rigidity is very good.

2. Gantry’s longitudinal movement is guided by high rigid linear rolling guides which is flexible,

and it is driven by two AC servo motor with synchronous belt(i=2) and the delicate ball-

screw, which ensure the high positioning and re-positioning precise of the hole.

3. There are two CNC controlled sliding plates. Y axis’s movement of the two drilling head

carriages are guided by two linear roller guides; each of them is driven by two AC servo

motors and two groups precise ball screws, which ensures high positioning and re-

positioning precise of the hole.

4. There is ram-type drilling units on the moving gantry. The drilling head is driven by YPNC-B

series frequency conversion motor specially for spindle through synchronous belt.

Rotation speed is low and the torsional moment is large which can bear the heavy drilling

and also can fit carbide inner cooling drill head to drill at high speed.

5. The drilling spindle of the machine adopts the precise spindle of Taiwan (inner cooling).

The taper hole of spindle is BT50, which has the butterfly spring automatic broach device.

This makes the change of the shank convenient. It can equip the carbide inner cooling drill

1 and high-speed steel twist drill. The spindle taper can be cleaned by blowing cleaning

device.

6. It is equipped with electron handwheel which is easy to operate, When you set the feeding position of the first hole, it can fulfill the quick-feeding, working-drilling and quick-with draw when it drill the rest holes. Therefore it can save much time which promotes the manufacturing efficiency. And it has automatic breaking, withdraw swarf function and also pause function. 7. This machine is equipped with plate-chain type automatic swarf conveyor and swarf cart.

The cooling system is equipped with paper filter. It adopts high-pressure inner cooling

pump (2 Mpa, 40L/min) and low-pressure external cooling pump. It can be used for inner

and external cooling of the tool. The coolant can be recycle used.

8. It is equipped with automatic lubrication device which can automatically lubricating the

guideway, lead screw etc.

9. The seal of the machine is very good. There is stainless shield on X axis, and also there are flexible shield on the two sides of Y axis. The surround of the worktable is equipped with waterproof plates and there is soft PVC cover around the spindle. 10. There is lamp for the machine which is convenient for observing and operation.

11. There is photo-electric edge finding device which easily finding the position of the plate.

12. There is hydraulic system of the machine, which can fulfill the hydraulic balance of the

vertical ram and also the hydraulic loose of tool of the spindle.

13. The CNC operation table is on the gantry moving with the gantry. It is easy to operate.

CNC systems adopts FAGOR8055 and equipped with color monitor and RS232 serial

port and LCD liquid crystal display device. The machine adopts the upper computer

management. It can implement the direct transform of CAD/CAM and can convenient the

programming, memory, display and communication. Operating screen has the function of

man-machine conversation, error compensation, automatic alarming etc. You can use

keyboard to program or transfer the CAD file to computer, then the machine can

automatically produce the processing program. It can transfer the CAD drawing to the

processing program directly. Before drilling, you can preview the position of the hole and

repeat-checking, which makes the operation convenient.

14. This machine is equipped with many famous foreign brand products such as ballscrew,

linear rolling guide, hydraulic pump, valves, frequency converter, servo motor and its

2 driver, CNC systems etc. The precision and reliability of the machine can be compared

with the foreign machines with little malfunction and high using rate.
