To search specific areas links can be created which transport directly to a single database or to a family of databases.

A link to a COMPANY PROFILE search form searches for company information in a variety of databases. One of the databases within the COMPANY PROFILE group is U.S. EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION DATABASE. It is possible to create links to each search form. In each case entering the company name will retrieve information about the company.

Examples: To search within headlines, type: headline(cheap flights! fly for less!) Or, you can enter more than one document section in your search. For example: Headline(diabolic logic) and author(aust)

Byline: contains the name of the person or entity Geographic - the country and region terms. identified as the author of the document as well as any biographical information. Industry - the industry terms.

Hlead: comprises the HEADLINE, HIGHLIGHT, & Keyword - the terms chosen by the vendor to LEAD Sections. "uniquely" identify the main story name.

Name: provides the name of the person that is Organization - the organization term(s). the subject of the document. Person - the names of the persons indexed in the Length: contains the approximate number of document. words in the body of a document. This Section is arithmetically searchable. Product - the product terms.

Terms: includes one or more of the following Subject - the subject terms and the keywords. sections: Ticker - the ticker symbol. Company - the company and organization term(s). Type - the descriptors classifying the subject matter of a document, i.e., Analysis, Country - the country term(s). biography, Case Study, Editorial, Obituary, Review, etc.
