November 30, 2006 Concerns Update Order- Chair Cheryl Garvin All concerns have been caught up. The meeting was called to order at 2:05 pm in UC-260. New Concerns Delegate Attendance Annual leave- Any accrual over 360 needs to be used or will be Delegates: Alina Brooks, Amber Dimkoff, Carol Montgomery, lost. Possibility of converting that time to count towards retirement Cheryl Garvin, Dirk Morrell, Gloria Chapman, Jean Hughley, Jillian years. Jones, Jivaro Lovett, Joan Murphy, Joyce Sandusky, Karen Born, Laura Herndon, Scott McElroy, Sondra Landrum, Tiekeya Reed Tables in cafeteria- Tables are wobbly and are not re-set after an event. Constituents: Barbara Dantzler, Kara Mullen, Vicky Stewart, Adjournment Valerie Lancaster, Lisa Phillips Meeting adjourned at 2:45pm. The next meeting scheduled for December 14, 2006 at 2pm. Meeting Minutes Motion properly made and duly seconded, the minutes of the Staff Respectfully Submitted, Council meeting held on October 26, 2006 were unanimously approved as distributed. Announcements Alina Brooks December will have a Meet & Greet Social, please invite your Constituents. Delegates will introduce their Constituents. Alina Brooks, Secretary Each delegate to bring in food items for social.

Will also have an ornament exchange. Everyone interested bring in a wrapped ornament, gift value up to $5.00.

Customer Service Initiative Initiative by Governor Sonny Perdue for State Agencies to Implement Customer Service Improvement Plans, this include the University Systems of Georgia. In the coming months there will be surveys in regards to this. Feedback is vital in order to formulate a plan of action. Ideas may be forwarded to Brenda Findley and/or Leon Wheeler.

Committees Update PDC . Book Scholarship winner will be announced in the December meeting. . Events of upcoming seminars distributed . Brochure passed around, feedback appreciated

Special Events . Christmas Lighting today at 4:30pm . Campus Connect December 7th hosted by Music and Spivey Hall . Adopt a CSU Family will be this year’s community service. Will be co-working with Laker Angels to identify families. Dollar Drive to raise funds for gifts/needs . Delegates to collect monies from the Dollar Drive . CandyGram sale going strong, to date there were 101 orders received. December 8th is the deadline.

PR Coordinator Pictures taken today will be used for the Meet Your Delegate portion of the Staff Council Newsletter.
