To maximize time available for actual live fire Fighting instruction, the ordnance cooling, EOD check, salvage of aircraft, estimated ready deck, FOD walkdown and ready deck can be simulated verbally.

Additional scenarios, such as wild/ruptured hose (simulation), fluctuating firemain pressure, etc., will be conducted at the discretion of the instructor, to add realism.

All fires will be conducted with Instructor OSL and trainees filling other fire party positions. All trainees should fill each position once during live fire
