President Hello SWE! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! I hope you're having a great Halloween Day! I apologize that I am unable to be at the meeting today, I am attending a wedding. (I know, who has a wedding on Halloween?!) Anyhow, tonight you should still be receiving all the info on events and important information. Please email me if you have any questions! Some things to look for: upcoming Outreach, Social and Community Service Events, and New Banquet Information. Be sure to check and see how many points you've earned in the Reward System (if you have questions ask Sara). Also, don't forget to register as a National Member of SWE www.swe.org! You'll need to be a member to apply for the MSU SWE Scholarships in the spring so, get to it! Oh, and also, watch for an email on our new Resume CD!

Vice President Hello Members, this is your Vice-President Tracey Lynch. I am glad that you all could attend today’s meeting. One of the benefits of SWE is meeting new people, that you find interesting or that you could relate to. So today’s meeting is going to allow all of you to expand your network of friends and associates, please take advantage of the opportunities that are presented through SWE. Also since it is mid-semester I would like to have a little feedback from you all on meetings and presenters. So please take a few minutes to fill out the surveys that you received. If you have additional thoughts, comments, or ideas in relation to how the meetings are ran, the presenters and or topics that you would like to see/hear or saw/ heard please write it on the back of the sheet. I am open to ALL ideas. I would like for every member to benefit from each meeting and if you ever need to speak with me feel free to call or e-mail me (313-598-2350 or [email protected]). Enjoy the meeting  Tracey Lynch Treasurer Hey all, Happy Halloween! Hope everyone is getting pumped up for the MSU/UofM game this Saturday! The fundraiser was a big success! Corporate Relations Hey SWE-sters! How are you all? Hopefully everyone received my email Monday night. SWE has decided to start a resume CD to give to companies. The details are all in the email, but just in case you didn't receive it here's what's happening. If you're interested in doing this please send your resume to [email protected]. Make sure the file name includes your name (for example mine could be Kristie_meserve_resume.doc or something similar) and it must be sent as a Microsoft Word document attachment. Also, when you send it be sure to include your major in the email. If you could please send these by Friday, November 16th that would be great! If there are any questions feel free to send me an email at [email protected]. Thanks! Kristie Meserve
