Audience: Version 7.6 is the follow-on update to Versions 7.0 and 7.5. The two major additions in the product for Version 7.6 are geared towards the PCB Designer. Version 7.6 introduces the new Fast Array Module option allowing the PCB Designer to standardize panelization tools. Version 7.6 also updates the P-CAD 2001 and P-CAD 2002 CAD interface.

What’s In Version 7.6 the Fast Array Module option is delivered to PCB Designers. New? With the Fast Array Module, Designers have the ability to generate arrays or sub-panels, before their designs are shipped off to Fabrication and Assembly. Also in Version 7.6, the Accel Technologies CAD Interface is updated to support P-CAD 2001 and P-CAD 2002

Key  Import Software AccelEDA (P-CAD) files for P-CAD 2001 version files are now Corrections: supported.

The ODB++ Import commands no longer drops drills for certain designs.

The Gerber Import command no longer drops voids for certain cutline polygons.

The Gerber Import command no longer fails for designs with certain polygon definitions with arcs.

The Gerber Import command performance is improved for cutline polygon import.

The PADS Import command now correctly handles certain designs with certain padstack definitions.  Analysis Pad to Solder Mask DRC check displays a negative clearance to report the annular ring size for solder mask that overlaps a pad.

Key  Utilities Software Corrections, The Composite To Layer command no longer fails for designs with cont.: certain polygon definitions.

Remove Redundant Data command no longer removes certain thermals for certain positive plane designs.

The Camtek AOI interface properly translates certain polygon outlines for certain designs with positive planes.

Platform: CAM350 runs on all Windows platforms (98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP).

Price: Pricing for new systems ranges from $500 to $12,000 depending on module choices. Consult with your DownStream sales representative to configure a CAM350 system based on the customers’ unique requirements. V7.6 will be shipped to all existing customers with a valid DownStream maintenance contract.
