Leeds Mind has extensive experience of developing and delivering peer support for people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health. We have a vacancy for one year for a Peer Support Group Worker, who will be responsible for the facilitation a range of peer led groups for young people and members of LGBT+ communities. They will work closely with the existing Group & Development Worker to ensure the successful delivery of these projects, but will manage their own workload. They will also be involved in the development and delivery of LGBT+ awareness training to community organisations and statutory service providers in Leeds, and mental health awareness training within LGBT+ communities.
