Greetings Pennbrook Families!

As we conclude the first marking period of the 2014-15 school year and begin the second marking period, there are a great deal of happenings at Pennbrook. Here is some insight into the many upcoming events at Pennbrook. Thanks go out to all of our families for your support in assisting us in giving your children a great educational experience. Winter Concert Season: The winter concert season is upon us and will be taking place on the following days: 9th Grade-12/10/14; 8th Grade-12/11/14; 7th Grade -12/15/14. All concerts are to begin at 7:30 and are held in the Auditorium.

Winter Holiday: 12/24/14-1/5/15; school is open again on Monday, January 5

GRADE & Math Benchmark Testing: GRADE#2, 1/7/15; Math Benchmark Testing, 1/8/15

2014-2015 Mid Term Exams: 1/16/15 English Essay

1/20/15 English Multiple Choice, Health

1/21/15 Social Studies, World Language

1/22/15 Math Multiple Choice

1/23/15 Science, Math Open Ended

1/26/15 FCS, Art

Mid Term exams will take place in the regularly scheduled class periods.

2015 Pennbrook NJHS Induction Ceremony: The 2015 Pennbrook National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony will take place on Thursday, January 8 at 7:00 in the PB Auditorium.

End of Second Marking Period: The end of the second MP for the 2014-15 school year is Monday, January 26.

2014-15 Course Selection Process: In addition to signaling the start of a new calendar year and the mid- way point of the 2014-15 school year, January 2015 also begins our efforts in academic planning for the 2015-16 school year. Pennbrook Guidance Counselors will be meeting with students during the month of January to discuss the course selection process and answer questions about academic programming for the upcoming school year. Please be reminded that 2015-2016 course selection nights are as follows:

1/29/15 NPHS Course Information Night 7:30 NPHS (Incoming 10th grade class)

2/3/15 7th and 8th Grade Course Selection Night 7:00 PB

2/5/15 Incoming 7th Grade Course Selection Night 7:00 PB
