Ø One Foreign National Peddling in Cocaine Arrested

Dated 11.1.2011  ONE FOREIGN NATIONAL PEDDLING IN COCAINE ARRESTED.  52 GRAM OF COCAINE SEIZED. ONE OF THE BIGGEST EVER HAUL OF COACINE.  PRICE OF COCAINE IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET APPROXIMATELY Rs 3 LAKH.

A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by Inspr. Vivek Pathak consisting of SI Paramjeet, HC Sanjeev Kumar, HC Narender Singh and HC Subhash Singh under the supervision of ACP/Narcotics have arrested one notorious foreign national peddling in drug and have recovered 52 Gram of Cocaine. Information was received by SI Paramjeet that one foreigner namely Nwadike Ugo Ben @ Dev S/o Geoffrey Nwadike r/o Village Ndiowerre in orlu, LGA, PO Box 185, Orlu IMO State, Nigeria, presently residing as tenant in Gandhi Vihar, Delhi was indulging in supply of Cocaine in Delhi. This information was further developed and mode of supply and timings of delivery were verified. On 08.01.2011 a specific tip off was received that Ben @ Dev would come to supply Cocaine to someone near DDA Park, Gandhi Vihar, New Delhi. On this information SI Paramjeet laid a trap along with other staff of Narcotics Cell and apprehended accused namely Nwadike Ugo Ben @ Dev and 52 gram of Cocaine was recovered from his possession. A case was registered at PS Crime Branch and he was arrested in the case. During interrogation the accused Nwadike Ugo Ben @ Dev revealed that he used to receive the supply of cocaine from one fellow Nigerian namely Mark from Mumbai. He further disclosed that the cocaine was sold to only reliable high end users in Delhi. The approximate cost of the seized cocaine is estimated to be Rs 3 lakh in the international market. The quality of cocaine is quite high & the amount seized is one of the biggest ever haul of cocaine in Delhi.

Further investigation revealed that accused did not have any valid document such as passport, visa etc for his legitimate stay in India. As such section 14 of foreigners Act was further added. He disclosed that he had come to India some 17 years back. He had stayed in Jaipur, Varansi & Chandigarh before shifting to Delhi in 2008 as tenant. He has no regular source income and was indulging in drug trafficking.

Further efforts are being made to locate the supplier.

GANG OF AUTO LIFTERS BUSTED

AATS of South West District has busted a gang of Autolifters and arrested three Autolifters namely Lalit @ Master, Sunil and Yashwinder @ Tinku and their receiver Jagir Singh. 07 motor cycles of different make have been recovered from their possession and pointing out.

1. Lalit @ Master s/o Pawan kumar r/o Village Bakkarwala ND, Age 22 years. 2. Sunil s/o Shri Bhagwan r/o Village Guard Pana Majra Sonipat HR, Age 19 years. 3. Yashwinder @ Tinku s/o Ranbir Singh r/o Village Jharothi Distt. Sonipat HR, Age 21 years. 4. Jagir Singh s/o Banwari Lal r/o Village Kojinda Distt. Mahendergarh HR. Age 26 years.

INFROMATION AND OPERATION:

Due to incidents of motor vehicle thefts in the recent past in South- West District, team of AATS was asked to collect intelligence about gangs involved in autolifting. On this team of AATS, South-West District deployed their sources and it has come to notice that a gang of Autolifters is indulging in motor vehicle theft in South-West District. A specific intelligence was received on 10/11/2010 that members of this gang will be coming to Dwarka area on stolen motorcycles. On this information, team comprising of Inspector AATS P.S Rana along with HC Vijay Pal, HC Paramjeet, HC Vijay Singh, HC Shyam Singh, HC Manoj Tyagi, Const. Jitender, Const. Rajesh and Const. Rajeev laid a trap at Dwarka Sec.-9 Metro Station. During checking on the pointing out of informer, two persons riding on motorcycles were stopped for checking. They were asked to produce documents of the motor cycles. However, they could not provide any documents. On verification it was found that these motorcycles were stolen from the area of PS Dabri recently. They were apprehended and interrogated. During interrogation they disclosed their names as Lalit S/o Pawan Kumar and Sunil S/o Shri Bhagwan. It was revealed that they had stolen both these motor cycles two-three days earlier from Dabri area. On their instance three more motor cycles were recovered. During sustained interrogation, they further disclosed that there are one more associate namely Yashwinder @ Tinku is also committing theft with them. They were disposing off the stolen motorcycles to one Jagir Singh. This information was further developed and associate Yashwinder alongwith receiver Jagir Singh were also arrested in this case. Two more motorcycles were recovered from their possession / pointing out. It was revealed that the Gang was operating since last 7-8 months in the area of PS Dabri, Palam, Najafgarh and neighboring areas. They used to sell the stolen motor cycles to various persons in Harayana and Rajasthan. Recovery of 07 motor cycles has been affected from this gang. Teams have been sent to various places in Haryana and Rajasthan in search of the remaining motor cycles as well as other receiver.

Further investigations are in progress.

INTER STATE GANG OF CAR JACKERS & HIGH-WAY ROBBERS ARRESTED AND MURDER CASE OF SALES TAX OFFICER IN RAJASTHAN SOLVED.

With the arrest of four car jackers and Auto lifters namely (1) Jagdish Meena @ Chottu @ Chhoteya @ Lohra @ Lakhan S/o Jagmohan Meena R/o village + P.O.Toda Bhim, P.S. Toda bhim, Distt. Karoli, Rajasthan, age- 20 years. (2) Subhash Kumar S/o Ompal Singh R/o village Babrala, Post Gunnaur, P.S. Gunnaur, Distt. Badaun, UP. age 25 years. (3) Banwari Lal Meena @ Jacki S/o Shiv Lal Meena R/o village Khochpuri ka Nagla, Tehsil & P.S. Maguwa, Distt. Dausa, Rajasthan, age 26 yearsand. (4) Khalil @ Guddu S/o Jamgeer R/o A-40, behind Gurdwara, Sultanpur, Delhi age 25 years, South East Distt. Police have busted an interstate gang of car jackers and Auto Lifters and recovered one Hyundai Verna Car, One Santro Car, and Two Motor Cycles and solved murder case of sales tax officer in Rajasthan, an abduction and rape case of rajasthan, three cases of high way robberies with hurt in rajasthan, one case of robbery in rajasthan, two cases of motor vehicle theft in Delhi and one motor vehicle theft in Harayna. Investigation and Modus Operandi :- In recent past in order to curb the menace of Motor Vehicle theft in the area of P.S. Badarpur South East Distt., a team comprising of Inspr. Sanjay Bhardwaj SHO. Badarpur, Inspr. Kamal Kishore, Inspr. Investigation, and SI Virender Singh, HC Pritam Singh, Ct. Udham No. 2910/SE, and Ct. Ravinder No. 1999/SE under the leadership and overall supervision of Sh. Bal Krishan Sharma ACP/Sarita Vihar was constituted. On 7-1-2011, while the above noted police team was on vehicle checking duty at carriage way on Mehrauli Badarpur Raod, between 6.00 PM to 8.00 PM . During checking at about 6.30 PM they saw one Hyundai Verna Car bearing registration No. DL-4C ND-1189 Golden Colour coming from Pul Prehladpur side to Badarpur. The staff signaled the car to stop for checking. The driver stopped his car on the road side and tried to escape,. In the mean time HC Pritam Singh along with Ct. Ravinder overpowered and apprehended the driver namely Subhash Kumar S/o Ompal Singh R/o village Babrala, Post Gunnaur, P.S. Gunnaur, Distt. Badaun, UP. on checking of document the RC NO. DL-4CND-1189, Engine No. D4FA7U350349, CHASSIS NO. MALCN41VR7MO33318. On cross checking and verification the ENGINE NO. 332995 was found to be different. On sustained interrogation accused broke down and disclosed that he along with Jagdish @ Chottu and Banwari @ Jacky (a proclaimed offender and absconder involved in over ten cases and wanted by Rajasthan police in six heinous cases including dacoity with murder and of rape) and others has stolen the said car from P.S. Roop Nagar Area. In this regard a case FIR No. 213/10 dated 26-12-2010 u/s 379 IPC was found have been registered in police station Roop Nagar. A case FIR No. 3/11 u/s 411/468/471 IPC was registered at P.S Badarpur. Subsequent interrogation revealed that accused Subhash, had committed a number of car thefts with his associates Jagdish @ Chottu, Banwari @ Jacky ( involved in 5 cases ) and Khalil @ Guddu. The team apprehended all the other gang members during course of investigation who had committed car Jacking and thefts in the area of Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi. On further interrogation Jagdish @ Chhotu revealed that he had committed murder of Sh. Kishan Lal Meena, a Sale Tax Officer in the area of P.S. Thoda Bhim, Distt. Karoli, in the month of August, 2010 Rajasthan by shooting him during car jacking when he refused to hand over his Wagon-R car to them and escape from the scene after robbing his Wagon-R car, ATM cards, Mobile and Rs. 50,000/-. A case FIR No. 235/10 U/s 394/397/302/ 34 IPC, PS Toda Bhim stands registered in this regard. Jagdish @ Chhotu had also abducted and raped a girl Krishna (name changed) along with his associate Pintoo in the area of P.S. Toda Bhim, Distt Karoli, Rajasthan. A case vide FIR No. 307/10 u/s 366/376/ 120-B IPC P.S. Toda Bhim, Distt. Karolli, Rajasthan stands registered in this regard. It is pertinent to mention that accused Jagdish @ Chhotu has not yet been arrested in any of the above two cases and has also not yet been arrested in three cases of high way robberies registered under Section 394 IPC in P.S. Salempur (Rajasthan) and one case of robbery registered U/s 392 IPC registered at P.S. Salempur. He is one of the most wanted and desperate criminals of Karoli Distt. Rajasthan.

Modus Operandi:- The modus operandi of accused are stealing the same vehicle which they owned and after stealing same model vehicle they remove / temper the original number plate and Chassis number. They also obtained duplicate RC of their vehicle and then sold the stolen vehicles to receivers known to them by mobile numbers in Meerut, Kotputali, Rajasthan. They have disclosed their collective involvements in stealing one Mahindra Bolero from the area of P.S. Camp. Ballabgarh, Haryana, one Mahindra Bolero from the area of PS Govindpuri ( N-Delhi) one Hyundai Verna Car from the area of P.S. Roop Nagar, New Delhi which are being traced.

Recoveries effected: - 1. One Hyundai Verna Car stolen from P.S. Roop Nagar area. 2. One Santro Car stolen from P.S. Anand Vihar area. 3. One Hero Honda Motor Cycle stolen from Saket Court parking. 4. One Bajaj Discover Motor Cycle stolen from P.S. Jaitpur, area.

Involvement :- 1. Accused Subhash age 25 involved in:-  Case FIR No. 3/11 u/s 411/468/471 IPC registered at P.S Badarpur.

The accused persons were produced before the duty Magistrate in Saket Court and police custody remand of the accused was obtained in order to conduct further investigations and to make further recoveries. Futher investigations are continuing.

DREADED GANG OF INTERSTATE NOTORIOUS CARJACKERS & KIDNAPPERS BUSTED With the arrest of three persons, Special Staff West District has busted a gang of notorious interstate carjackers/robbers and kidnappers. The criminals in daylight dared the commission of car robbery and kidnapped the driver on gun point. The criminals purposely dropped the driver after attaining safe distance from Delhi. The gang was headed by one Rakesh, a taxi driver. Robbed car Hyundai Accent, some robbed articles and weapon used in the commission of crime were recovered.

NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS 1. Rakesh Kumar S/o Shri Ram Singh R/o V.P.O- Jamal, PS- Nathusri Chopta, Distt- Sirsa, Haryana. Age- 20 yrs. 2. Joginder Singh S/o Shri Ranjeet Singh R/o V.P.O- Jamal, PS- Nathusiri Chopta, Distt- Sirsa, Haryana, Age- 22 yrs. 3. K.Deep Singh S/o Shri Darshan Singh R/o V.P.O- Madhav Singhana, PS- Sadar Sirsa, Distt- Sirsa, Haryana, Age- 23 yrs. INFORMATION/OPERATION Keeping in view the incidents of car robberies on gun point in Delhi & NCR, Special Staff of West District was assigned the task to collect intelligence about the gang indulged in these types of crimes. Team of special staff visited various scenes of crime. It was observed that the gang uses to targets its prey standing in lonely area and used to strike at evening hours. On this trend, secret sources were deployed to trace out the criminal gang. Information was received through a pre-deployed source that about 25-26 days ago an incident of car jacking occurred in the area of Kashmiri Gate wherein the criminals have robbed one car Hyundai Accent black colour when its driver was standing alone near Star Banquet, Kashmiri Gate. The assailants also kidnapped the driver and assaulted him by knife before throwing him near Sonepat, Haryana. Through the sources, it came to notice that the gang is operated by one Rakesh of Distt- Sirsa, Haryana. This information was further developed and sources were deployed. On 10.01.2011 a specific information received through source to Inspector Rajkumar that the above gang members will be coming to dispose off the robbed car in Mayapuri and they will go via Hari Nagar, Ghanta Ghar at about 7.30 pm. On this information, a raiding party under the supervision of Inspector Rajkumar consisting of SI Manoj Kumar, SI Charan Singh, ASI Nirakar, ASI Balvinder, ASI Ishwer Dayal, HC Suresh, HC Narendra HC Jai Bhagwan, HC Shashi Kant, HC Sanjay, Ct Devender, Ct Amarjeet, Ct. Vinod, Ct. Sunil Yadav, Ct. Sudama & Ct Sunil Sharma was constituted and deployed on Road going towards Mayapuri from Hari Nagar Ghanta Ghar, Delhi. At about 07.15 pm a black coloured Hyundai Accent bearing No. plate HR-25C-2369 came from Hari Nagar Ghanta Ghar side which was intercepted by the raiding party. Three persons namely (1) Rakesh Kumar S/o Shri Ram Singh R/o V.P.O- Jamal, PS- Nathusri Chopta, Distt- Sirsa, Haryana, (2)Joginder Singh S/o Shri Ranjeet Singh R/o V.P.O- Jamal, PS- Nathusiri Chopta, Distt- Sirsa, Haryana, & (3)K.Deep Singh S/o Shri Darshan Singh R/o V.P.O- Madhav Singhana, PS- Sadar Sirsa, Distt- Sirsa, Haryana were apprehended by the police party and on their search, one air gun used in commission of crime and robbed mobile phone recovered. On further enquiry they could not produce any document about the ownership of the car. On verification the car was found to be robbed vide FIR No. 251/10 u/s 365/392/397/34 IPC PS- Kashmiri Gate. They were arrested. INTERROGATION/MODOUS OPERANDI During interrogation, the master mind and leader of the gang Rakesh disclosed that he studied up to 12th from his native village and being from an economical back ground could not continue with the studies. After leaving studies, he started working with his father who is a farmer but this work did not satisfy his needs. He compared him self with other land lords in the area who was living a lavish life style. His school mates were also enjoying life then he decided to do some other work and started working as driver. With this also he could not satisfy his plans to become rich instantly. During this period, he became habitual of bad habits and always used to spend lavishly on wine and women. In order to become rich, he came to Delhi to meet his friend Joginder who is working as cab driver. He told his dream and started living with him. .One day both of them were taking alcohol. Rakesh, inspired by some Hindi Movie discussed a plan with Joginder that they should commit crime to earn handsome amount easily. Joginder also supported him and said that they were nothing to lose and if were not apprehended their life will be settled. At this Rakesh contacted his friend K.Deep and asked him to bring the air gun. K.Deep also joined them and in the evening of 20.12.2010 all of them with common intention were standing near Kasmiri Gate Metro Station to look for their prey. Incidentally, Rakesh noticed one driver sitting in a Hyundai Accent car near Star Banquet. The gang took him as a perfect target and on the gun point of the air gun overpowered the driver and robbed car. They kidnapped the driver with the intention to cross Delhi. They assaulted the victim with knife and threw him in Soenpat, Haryana and fled away with his belongings and car. They came to dispose off the car but apprehended by the police. Staff involved in the good work is being rewarded suitably.

(V. RENGNATHAN) IPS DY. COMMISSIONER OF POLICE WEST DISTRICT, NEW DELHI ABSENT BC CUM ROBBER ALONGWITH TWO ASSOCIATES ARRETSED, COUNTRY MADE PISTOL AND TWO KNIVES RECOVERED

With the arrest of the one absent BC cum robber Nadeem @ Bonta s/o Naseeruddin along with his two associates Jishan s/o Rahat Ali and Suraj @ Pappu s/o Shakar Lal, the North East District Police has worked out two cases of theft and grievous hurt and recovered country made loaded pistol alongwith one live carriage and two knives and cash Rs. 2100/- from their possession.

INCIDENT: In the night intervening 3-4.01.2011 one Asgar Ali s/o Munna, while passing from Gali behind Nahar Kothi, Jafrabad, Delhi had little scuffle with the three persons and was shot. After shooting him the three persons ran away from the spot. Hence the case FIR No. 03/11 dated 04.01.2011 u/s 326 IPC PS Jafrabad was registered. There after 1 more incident took place in the late evening hours on 05.01.11, one Abdullah was closing/shutting down his shop in Gali No. 13/1, Chauhan Banger, Delhi, when three unknown persons at the point of sharp weapon robbed up Rs. 10,000/- from him and then ran away. Hence another case vide FIR No. 07/11 dated 06.01.2011, PS Jafrabad was registered.

TEAM: A team consisting of SI Dharmendra Pratap Singh, HC Pawan, Ct. Sunder, Ct. Mahender, Ct. Kushal Pal & Ct. Mohd. Rehman was constituted to work out the above cases.

INVESTIGATION:

On 07.01.2011, SI Dharmendra Pratap Singh alongwith staff was on duty of patrolling when he received a secret information that the accused person involved in the firing incident behind Nahar Kothi and robbry case of Chauhan Banger, would come near Tent Wala School and they might commit any serious crime of robbery and snatching. On the basis of this information, a raiding party was constituted. The accused persons Nadeem @ Bonta with one loaded country made pistol and one live cartridge and Suraj @ Papu alongwith one spring actuated knife were apprehended. Hence a Case FIR No. 12/11 dated 07.01.2011 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Jafrabad was registered and investigation was taken up by ASI Jeet Singh, who interrogated both the accused persons. The accused Nadeem @ Bonta disclosed about his involvement in the shooting/firing case vide FIR No. 03/11 u/s 326 IPC and FIR No. 07/11 u/s 382 IPC. Hence the accused Nadeem @ Bonta was arrested in the above cases. Based on his disclosures raids were conducted to arrest other co-accused persons Jishan and nadeem @ Nadda in the above cases. The accused Jishan was also arrested alongwith a open knife which he had used in the above cases, hence he was also arrested and cash was recovered from Nadeem @ Bonta and Jishan respectively.

RECOVERY: - • 1 Country made pistol along with 1 live cartridge. • Two Knives. • Rs. 2,100/-

PROFILE:

The accused Nadeem @ Bonta is a desperate criminal and absent BC of PS Nand Nagri, who is a very shrewd criminal who frequently changes his address after committing crime or after his arrest. There are previous involvements in 17 cases of hurt, attempt to murder, robbery, Dacoity, arms act, snatching and trespass.

HOUSE BURGLAR ARRESTED AND SIX STOLEN GAS CYLINDERS RECOVERED

With the arrest a notorious burglar named Vakil @ Tuiyan S/o Ismail R/o D-248, Gali No. 3, D Block, Mustafabad, Delhi aged 23 yrs, the North East District has solved out three cases of house burglary and recovered stolen property including LPG gas cylinder.

TEAM AND INCIDENT:-

Keeping in view the increasing incidents of house thefts/burglaries in the area, a team comprising SI Arun Kumar, HC Pradeep Kumar, Ct. Tejvir, Ct. Dharampal, Ct. Narender and Ct. Sushil was constituted to prevent burglary and apprehend the criminals with same modus operandi.

On 07.01.2011 one Sri Kishan Kumar S/o Sh. Swaroop Anand R/o F-6/36, Dayal pur reported that he was running a confectionary shop and on 5.1.2011 he went outstation after closing his shop to Vaishno Devi. On returning from the pilgrimage he found that his four gas cylinders were stolen. On checking the C.C.T.V footage of the camera installed at his shop he found that two unknown suspected boys of aged 25/26 years had stolen away his gas cylinders. On the basis of footage available the staff identified the accused as Vakil @ Tuiyan s/o Ismail R/o 248/3, Block B, Mustafabad, Delhi, who is having a past criminal record of stealing the gas cylinders. A Raid was got conducted and six gas cylinders has been recovered from his possession including the gas cylinders of Krishan Kumar.

RECOVERY: - 6 stolen gas cylinders were recovered from the possession of the accused person.

PROFILE:-

Vakil @ Tuiyan was born in year 1988. He was a sixth class drop out, who took the crime at very early stage. He is residing at the above address along with his family.
