1. Call To Order

2. Introduce Board of Directors & Goddess Nyx I, Gigi Saak

3. Current Membership stands at 901. We will have 25 floats in the parade this year. Several bands and marching groups as well.

4. Nyx Sisters in Waiting-Members of our waiting list who will be invited to certain events.

5. Balance feature on website does not work! Its not accurate, don’t worry about it.

6. Nyx business directory. We want you to promote yourself!

7. Float Lieutenants and float assignments are almost complete. Lori will have these completed in a few weeks and you will be notified soon. Floats are not allowed to produce anything with the Krewe of Nyx logo on it to throw.

8. Harnesses will be provided for each rider, you must maintain it or pay for a new one next year. $25.00 for a replacement.

9. Timeline of Coming Events-

 October 6th –Light the Night Walk

 October 20th – Race for the Cure

 November 17th – Goddess Nyx II Coronation Luncheon- Goddess Guidelines will be going out via email on Friday, Sept. 28th. Luncheon will be at the Hyatt Hotel. Tickets will be $55.00 pp. Invitations will go out in the mail October 15th. Page 2 of 3

 December 2nd- Ornament swap/purse party(Tentative)

 12th Night, January 6th – 2nd General Membership Meeting Theme revealed, Costumes revealed.

 January 12th. Nyx Myx Masquerade Ball. Member ticket included with dues. Guest tickets will be $150.00. Sit down dinner, band/entertainment,/ breakfast buffet/alcohol included. Tables will be for sale for $200.00 per group, or open seating. Masks and formal attire required.

 First week of February will be costume distribution and a la carte pick up. These dates will be determined and emailed to everyone. Doubloons will be available for purchase at costume distribution.

 Float loading will be the night before the parade on February 5th. Location to be determined.

 Parade day, pre party is at Generations Hall from 12:30-4:30.

Headdress contest will begin at 2:30 sharp. This will be a chance for each float to show off their most creative headdresses. Members of the Board, the Goddess, and myself will be judging on originality, theme representation, and humor.

The winning float will ride on the Title Float next year.

 We will be picked up between 4-4:30 at a location near our pre party. We will ride our floats as we are escorted by NOPD to the formation area of Magazine/Jefferson. Again, this is a privilege! Anyone who throws from the floats during this escort will be removed from the parade!!!! Use the time to enjoy yourself, take it all in and to organize your throws, etc.
