Enhancement of HE Research Potential Contributing to Further Growth of the WB Region Re@WBC Author: Sanja Šešlija Event Title: 2.5 Training trainers Event Date: April 5-7, 2017 Event Venue: University of Belgrade, Studentski trg 1 Type of event: (National, international, International event press conference, promotional event etc.) Short description: The University of Belgrade hosted a three days training programme for all partner universities on 5, 6 and 7 April, 2017. At the beginning of the first day, welcome speech was given by prof. Ivanka Popovic, vice-rector of the University of Belgrade, and prof. Dragana Cvetkovic Ilic, project coordinator. The session on Writing research proposals was given by prof. Vladan Devedzic. The participants were informed about the research programs in general, partner hunting, inter-institutional and international cooperation, application procedures and project implementation. This session also included the workshop on step-by- step application procedure. The second day session focused on researcher ethics and consisted of three parts: Ethics in Academia, Challenges in Research Ethics and Plagiarism Detection Tools. The speakers were Vladimir Mikić (University of Belgrade), Milica Ševkušić (Institute of Technical Sciences, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts) and Dragana Stolić (University Library “Svetozar Marković”, Belgrade). The third day session was opened by Brigitte Ernst (University of Liege) who introduced the participants with possibilities of international mobility within EURAXESS network. Dr Pilone and Dr Baldissone from Polytechnic University of Turin gave a detail report on Intercultural communication based on both, theoretical and practical examples. Informal satisfaction feedback from participants was very good.
