The following will help us work with you to determine your qualifications and skill base for helping others grow as care partners. This application will provide the Eden Alternative Home Office the necessary information regarding your expertise and shed light on your accomplishments and goals. Having a clear picture of the skills and talents of each Eden Educator is a basic necessity for the success of the Eden Alternative Philosophy.

To facilitate Certified Eden Associate Training, you must: Be a Certified Eden Associate; Participate in a 5-day Train-the-Educator Intensive and be approved; Have a strong understanding of the Eden Alternative Philosophy and assisting organizations in bringing the Eden Alternative Ten Principles into practice; and A strong understanding of, and preferably experience in, team building, organizational change, long-term care settings and the application of adult learning principles.
To facilitate Eden at Home Associate Training, you must: Be a Certified Eden at Home Associate Participate in a 5-day Train-the-Educator Intensive and be approved; Have a strong understanding of the Eden Alternative Philosophy and assisting an organization(s) in bringing the Eden Alternative Ten Principles into practice Have facilitated at least two Eden at Home Care Partner Workshops at the local level Have a strong understanding of, and preferably experience in, team building, organizational change, the full array of home and community-based settings, and the application of adult learning principles
Expectations As an Eden Educator, you will: Complete a signed agreement with The Eden Alternative stating that you are representing The Eden Alternative, will not market any Eden Alternative products or offerings as your own, and that all materials remain the copyrighted intellectual property of The Eden Alternative; Join and actively participate in Eden Educator/ Eden Alternative Home Office conference calls and development opportunities; and Attend at least one Eden Educator Gathering or related event per year.

A copy of your resume (include educational history, i.e. institutions, degrees, graduation year) A brief bio (include how you have educated others about The Eden Alternative and name organizations/coalitions you belong to) A list of speaking engagements, particularly those related to The Eden Alternative A letter of support from your employer (as applicable)
