Bob Jones is my uncle; he owns the Beauteous Car Bath Salon in Hummelstown. Since he owns the car salon he has to know every part of the business. As the owner he has to supervise employees, make up the payroll, arrange for publicity, hire managers, and deal with the public. He chose this career because he worked at a car wash when he was in high school and he thought it was interesting, but he knew that he did not want to be on the washing side of it. He worked until he became the manager and then bought the business when the previous owner retired. Some advantages of this job are that he gets to be the face of the business and he always has a clean car. Some disadvantages of the job are that employees can sometimes be difficult to manage and he has to worry about money at slow times during the year. If my Uncle Bob had to start over, he would definitely choose to do this again because he enjoys it so much.
