Creating video Video proposal

Read your assignment through again. Write a brief proposal for your planned video giving its title and identifying the category you have chosen. Describe the video’s purpose and the audience you want to reach. Identify the software you will use to edit the movie. This template will help you structure your proposal. Save it to your design folder.

Editing software Serif MoviePlus

Before creating your storyboard, you may want to develop your proposal a little more fully by outlining the story, style and concept of your video below. This is called a treatment. Has your story got a beginning, middle and end? A good story has a “hook” or interesting angle and a key question that will be answered by the end (like ‘Who dunnit?’ if it’s a cop drama). Is there tension, drama or suspense? Will viewers want to watch to the end to find out what happens, or will they want to go off and make a cup of tea in the middle? Save the file to your design folder.
