Dear Parent/Guardian:

Welcome to the Parade of Princesses at the Illinois Festival Pageants! Because of my personal feelings that little girls at this age should not be judged on “beauty” but rather that every little girl is special in her own way. Each and Every PRINCESS will WIN and receive a real tiara (not a plastic one) a trophy and a crown backpack.

The Princess pageant will be held Sunday, August 6, 2017 in conjunction with the Queen, Junior Miss and Pre Teen pageants at the Decatur Civic Center during the Decatur Celebration.

R E Q U I R E M E N T S:

 Each little girl pays their $35.00 entry fee  Entry form filled out  Consent form filled out  Photography Release form filled out  Purchase a pageant t-shirt to be worn on stage during introductions $20  Attend 1 rehearsal so the little girls are aware of what they will be doing  Attend 1 rehearsal so we can take a digital photo for the program  Sell 35 tickets to help cover pageant expenses  Decorate your own bag/box for People’s Choice Award  Participate in the Decatur Celebration parade on Saturday morning

Photos for the pageant program will be taken at a rehearsal. These photos will be placed in the pageant program and underneath the photo we will list the contestant’s sponsor. They should wear a nice sundress for this photo but it does not have to be the same dress they wear at the actual pageant or a nice shirt as it is only a head and shoulders shot.
