Ways to promote Toys for Tots: 1. Advertise on your Company Facebook page with flyers and information on how to donate. 2. Insert a TFT donation flyer in your company’s Christmas card. 3. Host a Christmas Party for clients and friends of your industry with donation box. 4. Coordinate a taped or live broadcast with the local news station. 5. Order a Toys for Tots Donation Box for your location.

Ways to encourage people to donate:  Post a Giveaway on Facebook, every person who donates to Toys to Tots will get put in a drawing to win the prize.  Advertise that for every roof sold in the month of December, your company will donate a bike to Toys for Tots.  For every person who donates a bike to Toys for Tots will receive a $100 off coupon for a new roofing system, this could also include a free upgraded product instead of the $100 off.  For every $1 donated to Toys for Tots customer can receive up to a certain amount of your company’s choice to be used towards that customer’s new roofing system.  For a Christmas Party you can advertise that for every donation made over $100 or donation of a bike you may be entered into a raffle for a free item such as a TV and you may have smaller gifts for people who make smaller donations.

Becoming a Toy Drop Site:  Go to http://www.toysfortots.org  Click Find Your Local Toys For Tots Program  Select your State and County  You will be redirected to the Toys for Tots website for your local community  Under “Give & Receive” select “Become a Toy Drop Site”  Fill out form and submit

Host a Local Toys for Tots Event: (with 2 U.S. Marines in attendance)  Go to http://www.toysfortots.org  Click Host a Local Toys For Tots Event/office party/TV broadcast  Select your State and County  You will be redirected to the Toys for Tots website for your local community  Under “News & Events” select “Tell Us About Your Event”  Fill out form and submit
