THE POSITIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD

The President shall: 1. Have overall responsibility for the operation of The Order of Omega. 2. Call and preside at all regular and special meetings of The Order of Omega. 3. Preside at all regular meetings of The Order of Omega. 4. Call and preside at all meetings of The Order of Omega Executive Board. 5. Review, approve and sign all Order of Omega checks and contracts involving the chapter. 6. Serve as an ex-officio member of all Order of Omega Committees with voice but not vote. 7. Report as required to The National Order of Omega. 8. Maintain a complete and up-to-date President's file which will include a copy of the current Order of Omega Constitution and Bylaws, Standing Rules, the current Order of Omega budget, current correspondence and materials received from The National Order of Omega, and other pertinent materials. 9. Keep in regular contact with The Order of Omega chapter advisor. 10. Perform all other duties usually pertaining to this office 11. Hold and maintain the Order of Omega ritual

The Vice President shall: 1. Be responsible for the coordination of all membership recruiting activities according to the national constitution. 2. Train membership about proper selection procedures and how to obtain the most diverse membership pool. 3. Perform the duties of the President in his/her absence, inability to serve, or at his/her call. 4. Chair the annual Order of Excellence Award and scholarship 5. Act as the liaison between the chapter and Greek Council for events such as, but not limited to, Greek Week, Greek Quarterly, Quiz Bowl, and special events

The Vice President of Programs shall: 1. Be responsible for the development and implementation of special programs, e.g., Quarterly events, New Member dinner, Senior Recognition, Quiz Bowl 2. Keep notebook containing all records and notes pertaining to production of each program sponsored. 3. Supervise subcommittees with the coordination and implementation of each program.

The Secretary shall: 1. Keep an up-to-date roster of the members of The Order of Omega and call roll at all meetings. 2. Keep current statistics concerning the number of initiated members and honorary members and their respective member fraternities/sororities. 3. Calculate the required points and percentages of active member 4. Work with the President and Vice President on membership eligibility

The Treasurer shall: 1. Be responsible for the general supervision of the finances of The Order of Omega. 2. Maintain the Order of Omega account through the ASI Business office 3. Receive all payments due to The Order of Omega, collect all dues, and issue receipts. 4. Be responsible for the prompt payment of all bills of the Iota Beta of the Order of Omega.
