Let Your Designer Series Paper Do the Talking!

Six Sayings + let your Designer Series Paper do the talking! (when you have gorgeous paper, make it the focal point – this project showcases one template using 3 different Holiday catalog papers and a hostess set that includes all these different holidays)

Supplies:  Stamp Sets: Six Sayings Holiday catalog exclusive hostess set (w-139849 or c-139852)  Designer Series Paper {DSP}: Into the Woods (139592); Happy Haunting (139584); Home for Christmas (139584)  Cardstock: Old Olive (100702), Real Red (102482), Pool Party (122924), Tangelos Twist (138420), Basic Black (121045), Very Vanilla (101650), Whisper White (100730)  Stamp Pads: Real Red (126949), Tangelo Twist (133646), Early Espresso (126974), Tuxedo Black Memento Pad (132708)  Miscellaneous: Textured Impressions Embossing Folders : Woodgrain (127821), Lucky Stars (135817) & Softly Falling (139672). Other miscellaneous: Banner Triple Punch (138292), Candy Dots Brights (130931), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246); SNAIL Adhesive (104332); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

Measurements in descending order of card stock size  Card base (see color lists below to choose your favorite coordinating color based on the Designer Series Paper chosen): 4-1/4” x 11” OR 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” then score in half  The Designer Series Paper of your choice: 4” x 5-1/4”  Coordinating color for wider horizontal band: 2” x 4”  Coordinating color for narrower horizontal band you will emboss: 1-3/4” x 4”  Whisper White or Very Vanilla strip for sentiment: finished size 1” x 3-1/4” so stamp on a scrap just a little larger and trim so sentiment is straight Instructions: 1. Emboss the narrower (of the two) horizontal bands with your choice of embossing folder 2. Using SNAIL, adhere that embossed piece to slightly wider band piece then onto Designer Series Paper 3. Stamp sentiment onto Very Vanilla or Whisper White cardstock, depending on your DSP colors and in the color ink of your choice, then trim to desired width and use Triple Banner Punch to create small banner edge/s. Adhere that piece to band piece 4. Using Dimensionals adhere entire paper piece onto card base. 5. Using Candy Dots and/or rhinestones, scatter then onto DSP. 6. Mail!

Note: One sheet of 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper will yield 6 card fronts. All packs of DSP use Stampin’ Up exclusive colors and all colors used are listed in the catalog and on the product packaging. These are the colors used in the 3 different Designer Series Papers used in this project:
