1 Designated Heritage Assets On/Adjacent to the Site

Siddington

The medieval church, and the focus of the medieval settlement lies to the north of what is now the main village, while the site of a second medieval church and associated settlement lies to the west of the canal and adjacent to the industrial estate. A complex system of water meadows is present on the floodplain of the R Churn.

Given Siddington’s location in the Upper Thames Valley there is also potential for further evidence of early settlement, particularly of prehistoric and Roman date, across the whole of this landscape.
