NEKSMEA DaCapo (grade 5,6 Orchestra) December 5, 2009

Each student must bring a folding music stand marked clearly with their name and school, a pencil, and their music.

Each teacher is responsible for obtaining music for their students. Clinician/ Conductor is Gail Rowland, and the selections are:

(There are four selections with the chance one may be taken out. There is extra rehearsal time so each piece should be adequate for practice time.)

Dress for the festival is nice dress clothes. I know this is vague so I will leave it to each director to discuss proper dress for their students. Please guide student decisions on things such as skirt length and slacks. No jeans please!

K-9 Mini Convention December 5, 2009

If possible Teachers should bring a viola, cello or bass for every two violins. Teachers are allowed up to 4 students per building assignment. Please do not send more students than we have allotted for. Please also take great care to make sure proper instrumentation is being sent
