DONATIONS FOR LITTLE HEARTS IN UKRAINE PLEASE BRING WARM CLOTHES & SMALL BOOKS TO WARM LITTLE HEARTS IN UKRAINE!

With St. Mykolai visiting our school on December 19th we will ask St.Mykolai to pass few parcels with warm clothes to the displaced families with children in Artemivsk, in the East of Ukraine as we did last year.

They are looking for gently -used (not necessary new) warm winter clothes, gloves, scarfs, sweaters, shoes, hats and vitamins. The children's ages are from 1 to 14.

Here is a December 3 letter from our volunteer contact in Artemivsk, Oleh Romanenko:

Also, we are in communication with two Public Schools Num. 6 and Num. 15 in Severodonetsk (suburb of Lysychansk in Luhansk Oblast).

We will be collecting easy to read teen/children books in English and Ukrainian.

Stop by our stand at the bazar and sign the Christmas card, sign the box for Ukraine. For more information contact Oleh Voloshyn [email protected]

We also would like to report that from borsch sales we bought 21 children coats on sale ($16 each, yes, very good sale!) to be send to Ukraine. Picture of coats is included below. We know this is drop in the ocean of needed and hope on more items to be donated.
