ST. CHARLES MARCH 8, 2015 LIMA, OHIO

Staff corner Welcome to our parish community! We are happy to have you! A special welcome to any guests Greetings: who may be visiting. May your visit be blessed!

When we talk with God and ask for help, we are in conversation with one being who has the power to do or change anything. God even has the power to change us. Sometimes we ask for God's guidance in a certain way and then find out we have grown differently. Placing our needs and concerns before God Monday, March 9 allows us to share the struggle with someone loving, 8:00 AM Holy Communion Service accepting and powerful. In the process, not only do we *3:30-6:30 PM Eucharistic Adoration find that a situation or problem is better than we Tuesday, March 10 though, but also we are able to see the situation from a 8:00 AM Mass new perspective. This is the power and grace of God at 1:30 PM Mass at Shawnee Manor work. Wednesday, March 11 When we are able to focus ourselves in prayer 8:00 AM Mass we gain new insights and new perspective and are Thursday, March 12 humbled to embrace God's will in our lives. Sometimes, 8:00 AM Mass in the thick of struggling times, we might feel sorry for Friday, March 13 ourselves. We might ask God for things that may not 6:30 AM Mass (during Lent only) really be good for us. For example, "God, please make 8:00 AM Mass ____love me," might be the prayer of a heartbroken 7:00 PM Stations of the Cross (during Lent person. only) Psalm 139:13 tells us that God knew us before we were born. God knows everything about us. Lord’s Day-The Fourth Sunday of Lent Because we do not know all that God knows it is Saturday, March 14 possible that we don't always ask for what is best 5:00 PM Mass especially if we ask out of pity or selfishness. Even Sunday, March 15 though our plans may not turn out as we prayed, God 8:00 AM Mass surprises us with wonderful alternative. The most wonderful part of prayer, is not just 10:30 AM Mass to get what we want but for us to me changed into the 6:00 PM Mass image of Jesus. To love what he deeply loves. To * Eucharistic Adoration will close 6:30 pm due to have a relationship with Him. Prayer is our relationship Mondays in March presentations. with Christ. Take some time out to pray. If you would like to like to find out ways to assist you in increasing your prayer life you can join me at Mondays in March on March 16 at 7 pm.
