ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED FROM 8 A.M. UNTIL 3 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 12 AND RELEASED BETWEEN 12:00 AND 12:30 P.M. ON SUNDAY JULY 16. Entries in these classes will be limited to two items in each lot from the same individual. Be prepared to state promptly where you want your exhibit entered. PLEASE READ ALL RULES CAREFULLY. 1. Open to amateur photographers only. 2. Pictures that have been previously entered in Osceola County are not allowed. 3. Prints may be cropped to improve the composition. 4. Entries will be judged according to the descriptions and technical merits of each class, including composition, clarity and neatness. 5. Photographs must show good taste and may be subject to the discretion of the of the Department superintendent. 6. Captions are optional unless otherwise stated. 7. Entrants must designate on a card, attached to back of entry, the choice of Division, Class and Category. This tells the judge the desired focus of the entry. (Example: PA-1-A - Animals, birds or insects. 8. The person winning the most blue ribbons in the department is the sweepstakes winner.

CLASS 3 - PHOTO ART -COLOR — More serious, posed, artistic. planned presentation, and appeal to the viewer. Photograph must be mounted on cardboard, mounting board, or matted. It must be ready to hang, or stand. A. Animals, birds, or insects B. Buildings C. Flowers or plants, trees D. Landscape E. People / Portrait F. Transportation CLASS 4 - PHOTO ART - BLACK AND WHITE ***— More serious, posed, artistic. planned presentation, and appeal to the viewer. Photograph must be mounted on cardboard, mounting board, or matted. It must be ready to hang, or stand. A. Animals, birds, or insects B. Buildings C. Flowers or plants, trees D. Landscape E. People F. Transportation CLASS 5 - SERIES -COLOR OR BLACK AND WHITE-Two to four photographs relating to the same subject and telling a story. Photographs must be mounted on a cardboard, mounting board, or matted. WRITE A SHORT CAPTION EXPLAINING THE SEQUENCE OF EVENTS UNDER EACH PICTURE. A. Animals, birds, or insects B. Buildings C. Transportation CLASS 6 - CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY-COLOR OR BLACK OR WHITE-photos taken with any camera, digital camera, or a photo that has been modified in a tastefully creative way, computer enhanced, using creative camera techniques, creative mounting, and/or exhibiting techniques.
