Removing a Block from a Patron Record
A block may be put on a patron record for a number of reasons, including invalid address. As a student supervisor, the only block you are authorized to remove is an address block. Have the patron fill out the change of address form. Library staff will update the address in the patron record. If the block is for something other than an address, please call the Circulation staff person on duty.
This message is displayed when a patron has an address block. Click the Patron button.

Address Block Click Update.

Click on Tab 2. Patron information.
Click here This screen appears:
Highlight the number of the block, then press Delete.
Highlight, then Delete Highlight the note in the note field and delete it also. Then Click Update.
Click Update
Highlight, then Delete
Click Close.
Click Close The block has been removed; patron may now check out materials.
