Students may choose to study abroad through one-week faculty-led trips or semester, summer and year-long exchange programs. The ISEP exchange network offers students the benefit of an equal exchange of tuition, room and board (see www.isep.org for participating universities around the world). In addition, Fairmont State University is cultivating special relationships with international universities, most recently UNICAL in Calabria, Italy. Students may also choose to study abroad with the program of their choice through another university and pay the associated program fee. To have a conversation about how study abroad might fit into your interests and goals for your college years and beyond, please visit Dr. Erin Hippolyte, Study Abroad Advisor, in 305 Jaynes Hall (phone 304.367.4598 / [email protected]). Students are encouraged to plan a year ahead and consider an international experience early in their program of study.
