Release Note Version 7.0

TMS S. No Task /Queries 1. Expiry Date of a Demand  The Demand Registration screen is modified to capture the demand expiry date.  Expiry date shall always be greater than system/current date  Revalidation of the expiry date is permitted through Modify -> Revalidate Expiry. This task can be performed till the expiry date. Revalidated date can only be more than previous expiry date.  Allotment is not permitted against the Expired demand  After the demand is expired, only cancellation of the same is allowed. 2. Automatic Route selection By the System  RBS System is changed to store the rationalized route information (Commodity- wise). The same information is showed to the user while saving the station index information in Maintenance of Station Index Task (Available in TMS Queries on Internet).  The Via numbers will be automatically showed to the Field User.  While registering the Forwarding Note, the system is modified to automatically pick the Rationalized route (based on Commodity) if applicable or the shortest route.  If the customer asks for a dearer/longer route other than the shortest route, a new task is designed and available in the TMS Application (List Of Forwarding Note Screen -> FNote Via Modification) for specifying the same. However this facility is not available in case of Rationalized route. This task can be performed only after the Forwarding Note is registered in the system. 3. Module for generation and collection of Empty Haulage charges for Container trains is designed in the System. This task is available at Main Menu -> Booking -> Haulage RR -> Empty Rakes. 4. Loading particulars for Containers shall be accepted in FOIS through an EDI interface developed for CONCOR. (Already part of TMS Version 6.5) 5. Revision of haulage charges for notified commodities in domestic container traffic (Ref: RC 30/2010). A input screen is designed to take input about the commodity details for DOM Traffic. (Already part of TMS Version 6.5)

Now the screen is modified to take the input in the same screen itself without going to the new screen. This is available only for single commodity in a container. For multiple commodities, the user has to enter the same in the same manner as available in Ver 6.5. (Screen Modified in this version for the same) 6. A new input for capturing the loading/unloading commencement time is added at the time of reporting the release of wagons. The WTR, Demand-cum-Release, Aggregate WTR task are modified to take the input. The time shall be greater than or equal to the Commercial Placement and less than the release time of the wagon for both Outward and Inward traffic.

This commencement time is taken into consideration when the consignment removal free time for wharfage calculation expires before the Unloading Commencement time. In this scenario, the wharfage start time shall be taken as the unloading commencement time, not the expiry of free time of the consignment removal time. 7. Changes related to Rounding off of Demurrage hours and free time by taking the Deemed Detention time into consideration. 8. The wharfage commencement time is to be calculated from the expiry of free time for demurrage, not the actual release time of the wagon.
