The production of curved panes of glass for building or decoration applications requires maximum precision and quality. The same is true of the components of glass bending equipment. Like isoGLAS® BF bending fabric, a special woven fabric designed to protect panes of glass in the bending process.

Gentle on the glass The new isoGLAS® BF bending fabric has a number of outstanding properties. Thanks to its fine woven structure, the surface is particularly smooth and soft – a good basis for a gentle bending process. The fabric does not leave any marks on the glass and the edges are protected as well. Their length and fineness (6 µ) mean that the fibres are not respirable, so they are not subject to the WHO regulations. The high stability of the fibres guarantees a long useful life even under extreme thermal and mechanical conditions. In line with the typical requirements in the glass industry, the application temperature (for a short time) is 650°C. HS
