Directions from Gloucester:

1. Take the A40 towards Ross-on-Wye. At the traffic lights at Huntley turn left on to the A4136 signed Monmouth and Mitcheldean. 2. At Mitcheldean continue on the A4136 towards Monmouth. 3. Just after the turn to Cinderford go through the traffic lights. 4. Take next turn right into Highview Road. 5. After approximately 1 mile, turn right into Ridge Walk (at the postbox and village noticeboard). 6. Follow this small lane downhill. After approximately 500 yards the driveway to Hilltop can be found on the left.

Directions from Ross-on-Wye and the North:

1. Take the M5 southbound followed by the M50. Leave the M50 at junction 4 at Ross-on-Wye. Follow the A40 by-pass. 2. Passing through Pencraig, take the next left (with care) off the dual carriageway signposted Goodrich. 3. Proceed through the village, passing the school on your right. 4. At the junction, turn left onto the B4229. 5. Once over Kerne Bridge, turn right at the next junction onto the B4234 and follow this road, past a garage on the right and approx. ½ mile further on, fork left uphill on a road named Cats Hill and signposted Ruardean 6. Proceed through Ruardean village and onto Drybrook, past Hales builder’s merchants on left and to traffic light at the crossroads. 7. At traffic lights turn right and follow directions from no.4. (Directions from Gloucester).

Directions from London, the East and M4:

From the East and M4 either leave the M4 at junction 15 at Swindon and follow the A419 bypassing Cirencester to Gloucester connecting with the A40. (See directions from Gloucester), or follow the M4 into Wales and observe the following directions. Follow the M4 across the new bridge. Exit at junction 24, the A449 Monmouth road north. This becomes the A40 at Monmouth. Leave the dual carriageway at The Highway Star junction A4137 Hereford. Turn immediately right and go over the dual carriageway on the B4229 sign-posted Goodrich. Continue along the B4229 past Goodrich and cross Kerne Bridge turning right onto the B4234. Follow directions from no. 5 (Directions from Ross-on-Wye and the North).
