Text: Principles of Environmental Science (4th Edition), Cunningham & Cunningham (Mc-Graw Hill)

Course Description: This course will examine key issue of the health effects of environmental pollutants: air and water pollutants and their sources, hazardous waste management, and public health problems. Approximately 10 lecture quizzes will be given during the semester. Each quiz will be given at the completion of each lecture unit in the course outline. A comprehensive Final Exam will be given at the end of the semester. Students also have to write a term paper and submit it on or before the last day of class. Late papers will not be accepted.
