It’s like every day

The sun goes down My father slips back to the town He must be fast, He should run past! But he’s strong and brave I think ‘Yes, he’s safe.’ But I’m sure, he will survive I know that he’s alive.

The water is still fine But we must cross the banned line We live in a zone of dangers A place, crowded with many strangers But we must stand the pain I think ‘They should leave the terrain!’ But I’m sure, someday they will I fear, it won’t happen, still.

The air is polluted And the people here are persecuted It’s the war that changes us It’s the war that destroys our trust But we fight for our right I think ‘There’s always a light!’ But I’m sure, we’ll find an end I know I’ll loose my friend.

Yeah, it’s like every day

The sky becomes grey We must flee to the valley! Hoping for the help of the others, I thought we all are BROTHERS! But you only stare at my nation, I think ‘We need the cooperation’ But I’m sure, you will do less I know that you’re not HIS HOLLINESS! It’s like every day

The trees become leafless Me and my father become fearless Without any siblings and a mother We take care of each other But it’s hard to live I think ‘We must accept what God can give’ But I’m sure that’s not HIS treason I know that’s not the reason

The drops turn to acid rain Oh Europe, can you feel my pain? Please, help us here! Please, interfere! But it’s maybe already too late I think ‘My life isn’t that great.’ But I have my daddy, that’s okay And I know ‘WAR IS DEFINITELY THE WRONG WAY!’
