0.3.02 TO CONSIDER THE APPLICATIONS RECEIVED FOR SUPERVISOR RECOGNITION.

RESOLVED to recommend the recognition as Supervisors to the faculties as given in annexure I.

0.3.03 TO CONSIDER THE REQUEST OF CERTAIN RESEARCH SCHOLARS FOR EXTENSION OF TIME FOR SUBMISSION OF THEIR Ph.D. THESIS.

RESOLVED to ratify the action taken by the Director (Research) for having accorded permission to the 8 Ph.D. scholars for extension of time for submission of their thesis as in annexure II.

0.3.05.01 TO CONSIDER THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MOU WITH OTHER UNIVERSITIES (ARTS AND SCIENCE) TO HAVE COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH LEADING TO PH.D./M.S.(BY RESEARCH) PROGRAMME AS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA.

RESOLVED to have discussion on the MOU made between the Vice Chancellors of both the universities at the level of Director (Research) with the counter part of the other universities on case to case basis.

RESOLVED further to place the outcome of the discussion before the board for approval.

0.3.5.2 TO CONSIDER THE SELF FINANCING PRIVATE POLYTECHNIC COLLEGES TO PURSUE PH.D./M.S. (BY RESEARCH) PROGRAMME UNDER PART – TIME MODE – AMENDMENT TO CLAUSE 3. 2.1 OF REGULATION.

RESOLVED to approve the inclusion to clause 3.2.01 of regulation as below

0.3.5.5 TO CONSIDER REVISION TO CLAUSE 7. SUPERVISOR RECOGNITION - “THE APPLICANT SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM OF ONE PAPER IN JOURNAL AND ONE PAPER IN INTERNATIONAL PROCEEDINGS”.

For M.A.(English, Economics, History) Degree holders including SC/ST Applicants minimum of 50% marks is necessary.

RESOLVED to approve the amendment proposed for clause 1.3 of Ph. D/ M.S.(Research) as below:
