THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (KING’S LYNN, HIGHGATE AND EASTGATE RESIDENTIAL AREA (KR04)) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND ON-STREET PERMIT PARKING), (KING’S LYNN, SPRINGWOOD RESIDENTIAL AREA)(PERMIT PARKING AREA) AND (KING’S LYNN, WINDSOR ROAD)(PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDERS 2015

The Norfolk County Council proposes to make three Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which on vehicles will be to:- (i) create a residents permit parking area from Monday to Sunday at all times along the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 below. The charges for residents permits for both the Highgate and Eastgate and also the Springwood Residential Areas are specified in Schedule 2 below. (ii) prohibit waiting at any time along the lengths of road specified in Schedule 3 below. (iii) prohibit waiting on Monday to Saturday from 0700 hours to 1900 hours along the lengths of road specified in Schedule 4 below; (iv) provide on street parking places on Monday to Saturday from 0700 hours to 1900 hours along the lengths of road specified in Schedule 5 below. Parking to be close by and parallel with the kerb. Waiting limited to 30 minutes with no return within 1 hour.

The following Order will become consolidated with these proposals and revoked on the date of commencement of these Orders as follows:

“The Norfolk County Council (King’s Lynn, Various Roads)(Prohibition of Waiting) (No 2) Order 2014” - in its entirety;

“The Norfolk County Council (King’s Lynn, Various Roads)(Street Parking Places) Order 2014” – in its entirety.

A copy of the Order, a Statement of Reasons for making the Order, and a plan, may be inspected at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, and at the offices of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, King’s Court, Chapel Street, King’s Lynn, during normal office hours.

Any objections and representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for these proposals must be received at the office of the Department of Legal Services, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH, marked for the attention of Mrs L Page, by 23rd June 2015.
