TEXAS NARCOTIC OFFICERS ASSOCIATION 2013 TACTICAL POLICE CHALLENGE

This Tactical Police Competition program is designed for public and private sworn law enforcement officers and U.S. Military members and incorporates competitive based skill and scenario courses of fire to allow you to practice and evaluate your ability using your duty firearms and gear in hypothetical police related encounters and solve the challenges presented according to your own tactics. The Texas Narcotic Officers Association is pleased to invite you to join us for a great day of TRAINING! Experienced 3-Gun civilian shooters will be allowed to participate, but will compete in the Invitational Division and will not walk the law enforcement shooter prize table. Civilian slots will be limited and must be approved by the match director.

What? A Competitive Based Training event using law enforcement duty firearms and equipment. 8 hours TCLEOSE credit will be given. (There will be a side match with chance of winning handgun). When? Sunday, August 18th (Limited to 30 Shooters) / Shooter check in from 0730 to 0830. Monday, August 19th (Remaining Shooters) / Shooter check in from 0730 to 0830. Where? DCSO “Kenneth Mitchum Firearms Center” located at 1512 E. Langdon, Dallas, TX 75241. Firearms Law Enforcement model Duty Handgun, Shotgun and Patrol Rifle / NO COMPETITION GUNS Patrol Division = Iron sights on all guns and Pump Shotgun Divisions Tactical Division = Rifle can have one optic & Pump or Semi-Automatic Shotgun with iron sights. Invitational Division = For approved civilian shooters. Maximum Rifle caliber for all divisions is .223. Round count, map, and other event information Ammo will be sent by e-mail to registered shooters prior to event. Following NRA TPC Standards, the courses of fire diagrams will not be made public until the day of the event. Law Enforcement Shooters: NRA Tactical Police Competition Standards will govern this event. Duty firearms, duty holster, magazine pouches and all other gear MUST be duty LE type as Rules and allowed by the TPC Standards.
