Hear from a panel of experts who will offer their expertise to those interested in understanding the European or pan-European economic situation. As there is no one unified regulatory body, EU states are currently converging on policies in regards to the following recent events:  The banking sector and major players have been nationalized by governments, occasionally in joint buyouts.  Leaders of several Eurozone countries have held emergency meetings to determine a pan-European approach to fight the economic crisis.  A specific action plan has been created from these meetings and immediate actions are being considered to coordinate policies. This panel will consider these initiatives and examine what works and what doesn’t work in the current and expected frameworks.
