Principal’s Message The good news will be followed with great news. The good news is that 79.9% of our students are achieving our school reading goals and the great news is that Mrs. Henry will be returning to Princess Margaret starting May 1st and taking on the role of additional support in the classrooms. Her primary focus will be on the delivery of intensified reading strategies and additional math support for grades 1-4. We are very fortunate to get this additional help as we make the final push toward the end of the school year and 100% success in achieving our reading goals. I would like to stress how important it is that parents ask their child what they are reading and to spend some time encouraging page time instead of screen time. If you have any questions please contact your child’s teacher to find out how you can actively encourage reading development. CIF (Community Initiative Fund): We would like to thank the Community Initiative Fund for the grant that we have received that supports our Nutrition and After School Programs. These two programs have made an immeasurable difference in the fabric of Princess Margaret and the lives of our students and their families.
