WORK EXPERIENCE Aug 2013-Aug 2014 Position: National Legal Advisor (was promoted to Deputy Team Leader starting April 2014) Section: Legal Training Team Organization: International Development Law Organization (IDLO) Location: Badakhshan (Faizabad), Afghanistan Responsibilities:  Follow up and update project work plan for training activities;  Design and review training need assessment questionnaires;  Design and review training curriculum and training material that includes the preparation of appropriate role plays, simulations, case studies and other practical activities and pre-and post-test training according to IDLO methodology;  Follow up implementation of training, based on training checklist;  Conduct post training mentoring and coaching sessions with trainees;  Draft weekly activities report including short report about mentoring and coaching sessions and send it to section leader;  Producing training course report;  Make sure that all external trainers received Training of Trainers (TOT);  Review and finalize Training Budget prepared by admin assistant;  Keep very good filing systems by subject or by training;  coordinate all training activities with section leader and M&E unit and submit all necessary information to be plugged on M&E data collection tools; and,  Any other duties that may be assigned by the section leader or head of training.

Apr 2013- Jul 2013 Position: Research Officer Department: Law Enforcement Team Independent Joint Anti-Corruption Monitoring and Evaluation Unit (MEC)

Location: Kabul, Afghanistan Responsibilities:  Conduct Research on Land Usurpation which includes all the legal aspects of the issue, collecting all information from all relevant institutions related to the usurpation of land, and developing recommendations;  For this purpose, identify sources, collect documents, conduct interviews, prepare transcripts, and write report on it. Nov 2012- Mar 2013 Position: Legal Advisor Department: Monitoring & Evaluation Organization: JSSP (Afghanistan Justice Sector Support Program) Location: Kabul, Afghanistan Responsibilities:  Collect all Weekly Reports from Different Sections;  Compile JSSP weekly activity reports;  Collect all training reports and compare them with the JSSP “Statement of Work” (SOW) and “Training Budget Sheet”;  Compile a monthly report on all the information related to trainings, trainees, institutional capacity, and advisor activity reports.  Review Section/Team weekly activity reports and compare them with the “JSSP” Statement of Work (SOW);  Conduct qualitative data research on JSSP activities from beginning till present based on the questions asked by International Bureau NL to measure the positive and negative impacts JSSP has had; and,  Other related tasks assigned by my supervisor. Apr 2012-Nov 2012 Position: Legal Advisor Department: Case Management System (CMS) Organization: JSSP (Justice Sector Support Program) Location: Kabul, Afghanistan Responsibilities:  Coordinating among the CMS team members and embedding them in different governmental agencies;  Attending monthly meeting with the members of the CMS working group from Government of Afghanistan to discuss on the problems and developments of the CMS.  Working with Government of Afghanistan officials to fill the CMS forms for detainees and entering them in to the CMS database.  Writing CMS team’s weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports;  Compiling JSSP’s Weekly Reports;  Coordinating among the legal translators, and assign them to different tasks; and,  Other related tasks assigned by my supervisor. Jul 2011-Apr 2012 Senior Legal Translator Case Management System (CMS) JSSP (Justice Sector Support Program) Kabul Responsibilities:  Translating legal codes, letters, memos, reports, and training material;  Interpretation during meetings and seminars;  Assigning translations to two other translators in my team and;  Proofreading translations; and,  Reporting to my supervisor. Nov 2007-Mar 2011 Position: Administrative Assistant Department: Director’s Office Organization: Mine Detection Center (MDC)-Part-time Job Location: Kabul Responsibilities:  Writing reports;  Filing records;  Translating contracts and reports from English into Dari and vice versa;  Taking meeting minutes;  Data entry;  Other administrative tasks assigned by my supervisor.
