Instructions to Teacher:

English I Use the Springboard curriculum. Be sure that students have an anthology of poetry (needed for CCC)

Computing for College & Careers Students will bring an anthology of poetry to class from English to create a digital poetry PowerPoint incorporating various PowerPoint skills and techniques.

Digital Video Production Present the project to students through the use of the assignment sheet. Students have the option to create either a 30 second commercial for The Poison, a music video about Romeo and Juliet, a movie trailer for a Romeo and Juliet movie, or a scene from Romeo and Juliet. Teacher discusses individual project components and stresses that this is a fully scripted project. Students have the option to choose a serious subject matter or to create a “mock-u-mentary”. Teacher stresses that students must script and create all shots.
