____ Call-Out Crisis Intervention Advocate Support CADA Advocates in the following ways: - Provide on call crisis intervention, advocacy and support to victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence. - Provide crisis support over the phone and/or in person at local hospitals and law enforcement agencies as requested during your on call shift. - Collect and record client data. - Maintain confidentiality of all CADA’s clients and staff. - Must have reliable transportation and current insurance. - Attend monthly meetings. - Must make a commitment to volunteer for a minimum of one night a week for six months. - This position requires the completion of a 40 hour Sexual Assault Advocacy Certification training.

____Child/Youth Advocate Support Child/Youth Advocates in the following ways: - Provide support for the needs of youth that have experienced violence at home. - Provide child care/recreation for children while mothers attend support groups, doctors and legal appointments, prepare for and attend court hearings, apply for assistance, etc. - Assist with support groups for children and parent education groups for mothers. - Create and carry out activities with children of all ages. - Tutor children residing in shelter. - Maintain confidentiality of all CADA’s clients and staff. - Must be energetic, patient, positive, tolerant, and have a background in or are currently pursuing an education/career in a child/adolescent related field. - This position is 6-12 hours a week.

____Shelter Advocate Support Shelter Advocates in the following ways: - Provide support for the needs of women residing in shelter that have experienced abuse. - Assist in answering phone calls on our crisis line - Support Shelter Advocates as they facilitate women’s groups and participate in meetings - Assist shelter residents in accessing county and community based services and support - Develop and implement educational materials and presentations relevant to the needs and experiences of shelter residents. - Maintain confidentiality of all CADA’s clients and staff. - Must be professional, open minded, friendly, have strong personal and professional boundaries, and excellent communication skills. - This position is 6-12 hours a week. - This position requires the completion of a 40 hour Sexual Assault Advocacy Certification training for direct client contact.

____Community Outreach Advocate Support Community Outreach Advocates in the following ways: - Provide support, information and referrals to survivors living in outreach communities. - Attend court proceedings. - Answer crisis calls. - Provide childcare during support groups. - Create and distribute packets of information to community providers. - Assist with outreach programs and prevention education. - Attend taskforce meetings as necessary. - Maintain confidentiality of all CADA’s clients and staff. - Must be professional, open minded, friendly, organized, have strong personal and professional boundaries, excellent communication skills, and be able to work alone and in groups. - This position requires the completion of a 40 hour Sexual Assault Advocacy Certification training for direct client contact.

____Sexual Violence Program Support the Sexual Violence Program Coordinator in the following ways: - Provide support, information and referrals to survivors of sexual violence. - Assist with community awareness campaigns, events, presentations, and trainings, including the Sexual Assault Advocacy Certification training. - Facilitate support groups covering a variety of topics such as healthy sexuality, body image, etc. - Attend taskforce meetings with other community providers. - Maintain confidentiality of all CADA’s clients and staff. - Must be professional, open minded, friendly, organized, have strong personal and professional boundaries, excellent communication skills, and be able to work alone and in groups. - This position requires the completion of a 40 hour Sexual Assault Advocacy Certification training.

_____ Shelter – Volunteers working in the shelter setting assist with organizing donations, the food pantry, general upkeep of the facility, assisting our shelter cook in the kitchen, sanitize toys, etc. Must be organized, detail oriented, flexible and have great communication skills. This position is 3- 6 hours a week.

_____ Administrative Assistant – Assist CADA staff with greeting clients, answering and directing phone calls, mailings, filing, data entry, accepting and organizing donations, cleaning, and any other administrative tasks throughout the organization. Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. This position is available during business hours, Monday through Friday.

_____ General Support – General Support Volunteers come into CADA ready to help out wherever the staff and advocates need assistance. General support tasks include a variety of tasks highlighted in the shelter and administrative areas. Must be organized, detail oriented, open minded, flexible, and eager to help out in a variety of departments. This position is 4-8 hours a week.

_____ Facilities/Maintenance – Assist facility staff in maintaining a clean and organized office/shelter, assist in carrying out maintenance projects and/or light landscaping or cleanup projects. This is on an as needed basis.

_____ Special Service/Project – This is reserved for anyone interested in providing a specific service during their volunteer hours. Examples include yoga, haircuts, yard work, etc. Please describe the service you would like to provide: ______
