Step 1: Grow a third eye 1. Open up your picture. 2. Choose the Clone stamp 3. Hold down the Alt key and click on the center of one of your eyes 4. Release the Alt 5. Point to where you want to add an eye. (forehead, chin, or cheek). 6. Drag the mouse in little circles. (Notice you are tracing the spot you originally selected) Step 2: Expand your brain 1. Use the Crop tool 2. Drag a rectangle that encloses your entire head and hair. 3. Put a check in the Perspective option on the option bar. 4. Drag the sizing handles of the upper corners inward so that the sides of the cropping area just touch the side of your head or hair. 5. Double-click inside the cropped area. The remaining image is stretched back into a rectangular shape, enlarging your cranium. Step 3: Shrink your nose 1. Go to Filter menu and choose Liquify. 2. Click the Pucker tool. 3. Use the brackets ( [ or ] ) to decide brush size. 4. Put the center of the circle over your nose and press the mouse button. (notice the nose shrinking) Step 4: Raise your eyebrows 1. Click the button for the Warp tool. 2. Center the brush circle just above the center of the left eyebrow and drag it up. Your eyebrow will rise to a point. 3. Repeat step 2 for the right eyebrow. 4. Click OK. Step 5: Turn yourself green 1. Choose the eyedropper 2. On the option bar, click sample size and choose 5 X 5 Average. 3. Find a point on your skin where the color is roughly your average skin color and click it. 4. From the Image menu choose Adjustments, Replace Color command. 5. Drag the pointer on the Fuzziness slider until your face is mostly white on the diagram below the slider but other major parts of your picture are black. 6. Slide the Hue slider until you find a good, traditional Martian green. Fiddle with the Saturation and Lightness sliders until you get a nice, unhealthy glow. Then click OK. (Make sure Preview is check) Step 6: Make your three eye glow 1. Go to the Filter menu and choose Render, Lens Flare. 2. In the Flare Center area click on the center of one eye. 3. Adjust the brightness until the flare looks good. 4. Click Ok 5. Repeat 1-4 for each eye. Step 7: Give yourself horns 1. Choose smudge tool (hand with pointing finger) 2. Choose a brush size to be the same size as the iris of your eye 3. point to just below the top of your head on the left side 4. drag up, curving to the right. 5. Repeat step 3-4 for the right side of the head.
