Kevin McElhenny BSc(Hons) CivEng, BCom, ANZIIF (Fellow), ACLA CHARTERED LOSS ADJUSTER

Kevin has an honours degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He is also a Fellow of ANZIIF and an Associate member of the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA). Kevin spent 12 years working as an engineer in the mining industry in South Africa, completing this part of his career as Engineering Manager for a gold mine before moving into project work. He spent the next six years in Project Management of construction of process plants and shafts in Southern Africa and as a technical consultant for a furnace project in Saudi Arabia. Kevin has practiced as a loss adjuster for the last 15 years, concentrating on engineering, construction and mining related claims, as well as engineering aspects of major property losses. He also has specialist expertise in train derailments and has experience in claims for power stations and port operations.
