This year, we will be limiting the number of silent and live auction baskets available at the Harvest Gala. Assemblies who wish to participate are, therefore, limited to five baskets and must follow the established guidelines. • The value of the basket does not count toward the value of your item; therefore, shop wisely (garage sales) or just compile your items and the Committee will utilize a basket from our inventory. • Do NOT wrap your basket; the Committee will “fluff” and wrap. • The Committee is solely responsible for determining which baskets are offered in the live versus silent auctions. • If the Committee adds items of value to your basket to make it more appealing, the value of those specific items will be deducted from the profit to the assembly. • Adding a bottle of wine to a basket will often raise the value of the basket and its eye-appeal significantly. • Gift Certificates alone do not constitute a basket. • The DEADLINE for submitting baskets to the Committee is October 20th for the North event; because the Committee still has work to do, there will be no exceptions. • You MUST itemize the con in your basket based on the following example.
