Valentines Party Flyer

VALENTINES PARTY 2013

The [Class/Teacher] Valentines Day Party is scheduled in the classroom on Thursday, February 14th, 2013, from 2:00 to 3:00. We need volunteers to help during the party, preferably arriving 15 minutes early (1:45) to set up and organize the activities.

[Party Coordinator - Check with Teacher to understand how s/he wants to handle the distribution of NON- edible classmate valentines in case it can be covered here.] Please note that due to the district’s food policy, children may not distribute any edible Valentines nor edible goody bags at school. Please consider optional non-food items (pencils, erasers, pencil grips, stamps, mini pads of paper, sillybands, little novelty toys, etc.) in lieu of candy. Of course, regular paper Valentines work just fine!

If you have any questions or suggestions, can help purchase party supplies and/or prepare, setup, or assist with party activities, please contact [Valentines Party Coordinator] below.

This “friendly reminder” paragraph may be added at the Class Treasurer’s discretion if s/he wasn’t able to collect the all the $10 suggested donations in the Fall. Please remove this paragraph if you’ve collected all your $10 donations or if you feel the only families who haven’t contributed may not be able to so: Also, just a friendly reminder that we never received the $10 class party fund contributions from a few families before the Halloween Party. It is not too late to send those in to [Class Treasurer] either in a marked envelope via Backpack Mail OR mailed directly to her at [Address] – thank you!

[Attention Party Coordinator & Class Treasurer – order all food items directly from Chartwells by, or preferably BEFORE, 3:00 PM Fri 2/8/13, per the instructions posted on the SSA website.]
