THE BRIDGER GROUP, Denver 2013-present Management Consultant – Marketing & Communications Lead  Developed internal marketing campaigns to educate HealthSparq customers’ workforce on a highly relevant and life-impacting product (healthcare pricing transparency software) used to choose healthcare services based on quality, outcomes data, and price.  Engaged employees and drove adoption by delivering sequenced content: initial registration, 12-month general health-info program, and customized content educating employees on major health issues to realize health savings.

PROTEOME RESOURCES, Denver 2006-2009 Vice President, Business Development & Operations DATES  For this CU tech-transfer Life Sciences company, built base of customers from zero by educating them on the value proposition of the product and building credibility; worked with them to understand their needs and build specified products accordingly including making recombinant proteins as a service.  Partnered with key executives at top three strategic accounts—Thermo Fisher, SomaLogic, Novus Biologicals—to define account-specific projects resulting in generation of 50% of total revenue.  Secured placement for products in major reseller and catalog channels including Life Technologies and Sigma-Aldrich.  Built e-commerce capability to broaden revenue, accouting for one-third of total ($500K in year 3).

PENULTIMATE HOMES, Denver 2004-2007 Owner  Financed, developed, and sold new infill and redeveloped historic luxury residential properties ($2-4 million per) by analyzing the structure of the deal, defining effective pricing, and leveraging PR and marketing background to create effective positioning.

EXPERIAN, N.A., MARKETING SERVICES, Denver 1999-2001 Director, Corporate Communications  Led branding exercise with senior executives, customers, and national agency to define new brand identity, tag line, product names, and brand position and architecture; delivered message and graphic guidelines to ensure a consistent leadership image and to increase vendor efficiency.  Built new PR, IR, Public Affairs, and Marketing Communications departments comprising a $2.5M budget and team of 10 and multiple agency partners.  Headed product marketing for email-marketing and online-advertising software and services for clients including Sony Music, BBC, Schwab, and American Express; enabled a $46 million IPO and subsequent sale for $490 million.  Planned first user conference, receiving a 4.5/5 rating and spawning first user advisory group.  Pioneered the use of email marketing for client companies, allowing developing 1:1 relationships and dialogues with customers, and building loyalty.
