COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Undergraduate Seminar in Chemistry (3). Methods for locating and presenting chemical information, data analysis techniques, professional issues. Prerequisites: CHEM 1330 or 1500H; CHEM 2100 or 2160H.

ATTENDANCE:

Learning what it means to be a professional is one of the goals of this course. Clearly class attendance is part of that professionalism. Since class participation is an integral part of this course, you will be expected to attend regularly unless prevented from doing so by illness. Please do not schedule any other activities that would cause you to miss class.

COMPUTER LABORATORIES:

The Department of Chemistry maintains two computer labs in Schlundt 101 and 105, which are open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. A number of software programs, including the Microsoft Office suite of programs, are available for your use. Some of our class sessions will be held in the computer labs. All such sessions will be announced in advance in class and in the Blackboard announcements and calendar.
