Glasgow 2014 GCC Ticket Allocation Nomination (Inclusion Category)
Glasgow Communities is committed to the fulfilment of the Glasgow 2014 Legacy vision by supporting Glasgow’s citizens to engage in and benefit from the Games. Glasgow Communities will work through the Area Legacy Engagement Groups (ALEG) to promote the Commonwealth Games 2014 at a local level to increase and widen community participation.
GCC Ticket Allocation As part of this commitment to inclusion, Glasgow Communities intends to work with its partners to distribute Commonwealth Games 2014 tickets to nominated groups and individuals across the city. This is your opportunity to nominate groups to receive an allocation of GCC Tickets.
Instructions Please complete this form fully. You can nominate a group of up to but not more than 5 young people and adults living in deprived areas of Glasgow. All individuals nominated on this form must meet the same criteria (with the exception of chaperones/staff who accompany groups). Separate Nomination Forms must be completed where individuals/groups meet different criteria. Provide details for every person nominated and chaperoning staff. Indicate the events/sessions your nominees are available to attend. Please note however, Glasgow Life cannot guarantee tickets for any specific session or sport. If successful you will be notified regarding details of tickets awarded to your nominees and asked to confirm acceptance. Conditions of Allocation of Tickets for Inclusion 1 240 tickets are available for individuals/groups living in deprived areas in the North East of Glasgow. 2 To be eligible, every individual nominated must meet Criteria 1 (Essential) and ONE OTHER (Desirable Criteria) from the list on Page 2. 3 An individual/group will only receive tickets to 1 event. This will be the first event they are successfully drawn for. 4 A nomination form must be completed for up to a maximum of 5 nominated individuals (including chaperones/support staff). You may only nominate 5 individuals with one form and this includes chaperones/support staff. Where a group genuinely requires to be accompanied by a chaperone/support staff their details should be included on the form. 5 Staff of GCC, Glasgow Life, other ALEOs or ALEG Partner organisations cannot be allocated tickets unless they are required to genuinely accompany/chaperone a group (as Group Leader/Support Worker) who have been awarded tickets. 6 You may submit additional nomination forms for the same group, club, etc but the named individuals on the form must be different. Each form will be drawn separately and there is no guarantee that all individuals from a group, club, etc will be drawn. 7 Details and contact information must be provided for every individual nominated. 8 Individuals/groups can’t self nominate. Nominations must be supported by an ALEG partner. 9 All ticket recipients will be required to complete an evaluation form to demonstrate impact/outcome of attending the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
